We also provide consultancy services to help with your individual project. *Workshops* We run strawbale building & rendering workshops and working bees throughout the year. Our working bees are usually free of charge for participants and provide the opportunity to gain hands on experience at a current building site. Our workshops include daily theory sessions, slides & videos, expert guest speakers on related topics, access to a large variety of related books and magazines, comprehensive hand-outs and some hands-on experience. Strawbale Construction Teaching Workshop at AREC (Australian Rural Education Centre) Where: Mudgee, central west of NSW. When: Monday the 22^ndto Friday the 26^thof November 2010. A distinctive opportunity to learn about strawbale building details and techniques in a classroom setting, combined with hands-on demonstrations & experience. Condor MPS 303 Mortar Mix Pump and Spray Rig The Condor MPS303 (Mix-Pump-Spray) is considered to be "state of the art" mortar application equipment. It is powered by a 13hp Briggs & Stratton petrol engine. The stainless steel mixer has a capacilty of 120 litres and the pump has an output variable to 1.75 cubic metres per hour, however, the pumping rate can be varied to suit the job, materials and skills of operators. The twin body is designed to mix in one compartment whilst pumping from the other. The machine is suitable for application of clay and lime render mixes and individual aggregate particles of up to 10 mm are managed by the equipment. It comes with a stainless steel spray gun and plenty of 38mm high burst material delivery lines.
